Totally awesome
Biking is part of our DNA. That's why in 2018 we founded the Bike Rent Station, your first point of contact for all bike matters in Sölden, in cooperation with our colleagues from Sport Riml.
Perfect location
We opened our second branch at the valley station of the newly built Gaislachkoglbahn cable car in 2010. In 2016, we added another branch in Innerwald.
Sporthütte 2.0
The time came to expand: We needed more space for our customers. In 2008, we completely restructured our main business. The new Sporthütte World features 1,400 m² of floor space.
Expansion on wheels
We expanded considerably in 1992. To make room for a cellar and to create more space, we raised our premises hydraulically and rolled it to the side.
Sustainable Partnership
Our cooperation with Sport Riml has been going strong since 1994. Your benefits: You can exchange your rental equipment at eight locations throughout the ski resort area.
Why is it called Sporthütte Fiegl?
When things first began in 1986, the building was actually a wooden hut (hütte), which was constructed in just four weeks. The company was named after founder Alois Fiegl.
Just a trio at the start
Today, we employ up to 50 people at peak times. From humble beginnings: The original team during the inaugural season consisted of only three people.
Driven by Innovation
We were the first sports shop in Sölden to use a stone-grinding machine in 1987.
