Big 3: Three three-thousand metre peaks in one day
Even for us locals, visiting the BIG 3 platforms at Gaislachkogl (3,058 m), Tiefenbach Glacier (3,250 m), and Rettenbach Glacier (3,340 m) is always an unforgettable experience. Thanks to the modern lift systems, these viewpoints can be reached in just one ski day. Whether it's the view of Wildspitze (3,770 m), the unique atmosphere at the Obelisk on the Schwarze Schneid platform, or the summit triumph at the Gaislachkogl Adventure Mountain – each of these spots is well worth a visit. The only effort required is a short 20-minute climb to reach the Nature Platform at Rettenbach Glacier.
Behind the Scenes of James Bond
An exclusive opportunity: Since the shooting of the 007 film "Spectre" with Daniel Craig, Sölden has been a highlight for James Bond fans. You can experience original locations such as the two-toque restaurant ice Q or the glacier road where the car chase was filmed. The highlight is the James Bond adventure world 007 ELEMENTS at the summit of the Gaislachkogl, with spectacular architecture, fascinating film sets and interactive elements. Tip: Get the Ötztal Superskipass - admission to the 007 ELEMENTS and Europe's highest motorbike museum in Hochgurgl is included from six days.
