Accessibility Statement
We are committed to making our website accessible in accordance with the Austrian “Barrierefreiheitsgesetz”, implementing the European Accessibility Directive (EU) 2019/882 on accessibility requirements for products and services.
This accessibility statement applies to sporthuette.at.

Compliance Status
This website is partially compliant with Conformance Level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.2” and the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 due to the following incompatibilities and/or exemptions.
Non-Accessible Content
The following content is not fully accessible for the reasons outlined below:
a) Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- For some "non-text" content, there is no available text alternative, which means criterion 1.1.1 is only partially met.
- Some videos lack subtitles, which results in only partial compliance with criterion 1.2.2.
- The reading order of the content by screen readers can be unclear and illogical, leading to partial fulfillment of criteria 1.3.2 and 2.4.3.
- The "active state" of the language selection and second-level menu is only distinguishable by color, which partially fulfills criteria 1.3.3 and 1.4.1.
- Some text elements have insufficient contrast with the background, meaning criteria 1.4.3 and 1.4.11 are only partially fulfilled.
- Images are used in place of text without proper text alternatives, meaning criterion 1.4.5 is only partially met.
- Some elements are not fully accessible via keyboard, and there are occasional keyboard traps, partially meeting criteria 2.1.1 and 2.1.2.
- There are no controls for automatically starting videos and animations, resulting in non-compliance with criterion 2.2.2.
- There is no mechanism to allow users to skip large content blocks using the keyboard, meaning criterion 2.4.1 is not fulfilled.
- Some links are inadequately described and labeled, which results in partial fulfillment of criterion 2.4.4.
- The keyboard focus moves through hidden menu elements, making them invisible, which means criterion 2.4.11 is not fulfilled.
Incompatibilities with the accessibility regulations are regularly reviewed to ensure that all requirements are met as far as possible. We attach great importance to making continuous improvements and implementing any adjustments promptly in order to ensure accessible use.
b) Disproportionate burden
- Due to the technical implementation, the forms on our website are currently not fully accessible. This includes the following criteria: 2.4.6, 3.3.1, 3.3.2, 3.3.3, and 4.1.3. We believe that addressing these issues would constitute a disproportionate burden as defined by accessibility regulations.
c) Content outside the scope of applicable legal provisions
- The website contains older documents and content that are not accessible. As these were published before 28 June 2025, they are exempt from the “Barrierefreiheitsgesetz”, and no comprehensive updates are currently planned.
- The website also includes third-party documents and content that we neither develop, finance, nor control. As such, we cannot guarantee their compliance with accessibility standards, and they are therefore also exempt from the requirements of the “Barrierefreiheitsgesetz”.
