Depending on the season, we offer you different activities and areas of responsibility. As sports service providers, we work with people. That's why it's important to us that you provide our customers with a pleasant shopping and service experience that encourages them to come back. The same applies to your dealings with your colleagues.

Winter season:

• Textile department (advice & sale of ski clothing, fashion & accessories, ...)
• Accessories (advice & sale of accessories such as ski goggles, helmets, gloves, ...)
• Hire and sales of hardware (equipment rental, advice, sale and adjustment of skis, snowboards and accessories, care and maintenance, ...)
• Sales of ski and snowboard boots plus boot fitting (advice, fitting of all boots, production of customised CNC insoles, ...)

Summer season:

• Mountain sports, textiles & accessories (advice & sales of mountain sports products & clothing, fashion and accessories, cash desk activities, ...)
• Bike rental (advice, fitting and explanation, issue of protective equipment and accessories, maintenance of the rental bike fleet, ...).

Of course. The future belongs to the next generation. We look forward to welcoming interested and committed young people. We offer apprenticeships in the fields of textiles, accessories and hardware.

How much does an apprentice earn?
The remuneration of trainees is based on the statutory requirements.

What working hours apply to apprentices?
For apprentices under the age of 18, the weekly working time may not exceed 40 hours and the time spent at the vocational school must be included in the working time.

Apprentices are not allowed to work on Sundays and public holidays or at night (from 8 pm to 6 am).

We expect you to be reliable, a team player, hard-working and punctual. In addition, keen interest, flexibility, a neat appearance, resilience and responsible behaviour are important. Good computer and language skills in German (B1) and basic English skills (A2) are required. A driving licence (B) is a plus.

During peak season, our shops are open from 8 am to 6 pm. Deviations from this are possible during off-peak times when there are fewer customers.

In the case of a full-time position with 40 or 43.5 hours per week, a proportion agreed in advance is allocated to the weekend or public holidays. All overtime in excess of this amount can be used as time off in lieu or paid out at the end of the season.

In the case of full-time employment, the working hours are 5 to 5.5 days in winter and 5 days in summer.

Generally yes. The number of hours or days per week and the pay will be agreed individually.

The level of pay depends on various factors such as professional experience, years of experience, qualifications & training. Exact details are to be discussed in a personal meeting. If necessary, e.g., due to longer journeys, this is also possible by telephone or email.

Due to the continuous opening hours of our shops, lunch breaks take place at two staggered times:

• 11 am to 1 pm
• 1 pm to 3 pm

Depending on how busy things are in our shops, these may be shorter or longer.

In addition to informing your supervisor immediately that you are absent, you must also submit a doctor's sick note without being asked.

As the winter season is our core business, holidays are not possible during this time. In the summer months, holiday consumption should be personally coordinated.

We tolerate the use of phones to a limited extent. However, we reserve the right to prohibit this in the event of excessive use.

We do not tolerate the consumption of alcohol and drugs in the workplace under any circumstances.

In order to understand our customers and your colleagues, a good working knowledge of German (level B1) is required. Sölden is an international tourist resort with guests from all over the world. You should therefore also be able to communicate in English at level A2 (basic language skills). Additional language skills are of course welcome.

There are managers in every department who are there to support you and have an open ear. You can also contact our management team with your questions or suggestions.

We'll kit you out with the right outfit in our Sporthütte design for both summer and winter.

This is not absolutely necessary, but certainly an advantage if you work for us.

For employees who do not have accommodation on site, we provide a limited number of flats. These accommodations are always occupied by two people. Naturally, there is sufficient privacy (single room to yourself).

How is the accommodation equipped and how much does it cost?
The flats have a communal kitchen and single rooms with a shower, WC, TV, free Wifi and balcony. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer at the Sporthütte accommodation. A manageable monthly fee is charged for the use of the flat. At the end of the season, there is a one-off charge of 60 euros for the final cleaning.

Are other family members allowed to stay overnight in the staff accommodation?
In principle, this is not permitted. Exceptions are only possible via prior agreement and consent of the landlord. In this case, an additional fee per person/per day is due.

There is a limited number of free parking spaces for our team. In the interests of reducing traffic, we offer the option of travelling to and from the workplace on our free shuttle bus.
